Eric Metcalf spent six years with the Cleveland Browns (1989-94) and rushed for 2,229 yards with 11 touchdowns, but he was also a threat in the air, catching 297 passes for 2,732 yards over the same timeframe. As a Brown, Metcalf had 31 all-purpose touchdowns with 9,108 all-purpose yards. He was the only player in NFL history with more than 7,000 yards from scrimmage and 7,000 return yards. Metcalf shined in the return game and retired as the NFL’s all-time leader in punt return touchdowns. Currently ranks second in NFL history in career punt return touchdowns with 10 and tied for third with 12 total return touchdowns. Led the NFL in kickoff return yards in 1990.
