Hanford Dixon appeared in 131 games with the Browns from 1981-89. He helped the team capture four AFC Central Division titles and appear in three AFC Championship games. Dixon Recorded 26 career interceptions, including at least three each season from 1982-1987. Along with Frank Minnifield, he was credited with naming the Browns “Dawg Pound” inspired by Dixon’s barking to teammates. Dixon is a broker/licensed real estate agent and resides in Avon Lake.
