Biography

Josh Cribbs appeared in 136 career NFL games, including 124 with the Browns from 2005-2012. Cribbs established himself as one of the special teams’ players in NFL history as both a returner and in coverage. He finished his 10-year career as the NFL’s all-time leader in kick off return touchdowns with eight, tied for third in NFL history with 13,488career return yards, third in kickoff return yards (11,113) and fifth in career return touchdowns (11). Cribbs also amassed 1,175 receiving yards, 808 rushing yards and nine touchdowns as a jack-of-all trades weapon on offense. He led the team in special teams tackles four times and totaled 125 special teams tackles with the Browns. Josh Cribbs, originally a quarterback at Kent State, became the first player in NCAA history to lead his team in both rushing and passing in four different seasons. Kent State retired his No. 9.
